Camel Moto

Jacket: Old (similar here and here) // Jeans: JBrand (similar here) // Bag: Celine // Sunnies: RayBan // Ring: David Yurman // Bracelets: David Yurman and Madewell // Lips: Bobbi Brown Rich lip color in Plum Rose

Hello Everyone! I bought this buttery camel leather jacket during the summer I spent in Florence, Italy after graduating college. Every time I wear it, I am reminded of venturing into a little leather shop near the Ponte Vecchio with my friends Alex and Amelia. I really should give them the credit, because they talked me into buying it... and I am so glad they did. I also remember throwing it over a navy shift dress to wear to a cooking class that same night. I am that way with a big purchases, I get excited and want to wear my new item right away... even though in hindsight a brand new leather jacket and making pasta really do not mix. Here, I am wearing my favorite souvenir as a shirt, all zipped up, with high waisted flares... it doesn't get much more simple, but sometimes simple is just the ticket. Here is to fond memories, good friends, and more trips to Firenze in the future. Ciao Bella and thank you as always for reading!

Current Obsession: The Mule

Current Obsession: The Mule

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

Hello Everyone! I have unfortunately been fighting off a pretty bad cold the last couple of days. This has resulted in a lot of time spent in bed with my computer online shopping as I recuperate. Throughout my great conquest of the internet, this season's "it" shoe the mule has continually caught my eye. Here are some of my favorites, some of which are steals... and some of which are definitely a splurge. Either way, it is a great shoe to look fashion forward for the spring, and I can't wait to land a pair of my own. Have a great mid-week, and I hope to be back amongst the living when I shake this cold. Thank you as always for reading!

Transitional

Shorts: Zara (similar here) // Crop top: Target (similar here)  // Leather Jacket: Zara (similar here) // Coat: J.Crew // Boots: Stuart Weitzman // Bag: Forever 21 (similar here) // Rings: David Yurman and Forever 21 // Sunnies: Karen Walker 'Anywhere'

After my week in the snow, it was a pleasant surprise to come back to a much warmer Oxford. The last two days, the temperatures have been rising into spring-like levels. Dressing for the transition between seasons can be tricky, but I find it best to resort to layering. In addition, a perfect transitional ensemble is best achieved by combining pieces from both seasons, like these high waisted shorts and with my winter top coat. Here is hoping there are no more cold snaps this month. I hope everyone has a great weekend and thank you for reading!

Happy

Dress: Tibi (last seen here) // Coat: Zara // Fur Vest: Sheinside (last seen here) // Boots: J.Crew // Bag: Tory Burch (similar here) // Necklace: here // Ring: David Yurman // Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelets: David Yurman // Sunnies: Karen Walker // Lips: Nars 'Viva Las Vegas'

Hello everyone! I am so over winter... the gray skies, the cold, it can all be a little depressing. What is worse, during winter it is so easy to omit color from your wardrobe. Everything I have been wearing lately has been a sea of black, navy and white. To combat the rut, I became inspired by the street style snaps from Fashion Week and decided to jolt my winter wardrobe with some color. These brights have an amazing ability to change your mood, not to mention they help transition all that black into spring. I hope everyone is hanging in there in these last weeks of winter. I hope you have a 'Happy' Monday and as always thank you for reading!

Geek Chic with GlassesUSA

Glasses: Muse c/o GlassesUSA // LeatherVest: Truth and Pride (also loving this one) // Jeans: J.Crew (similar here)// Chambray: J.Crew // Shoes: J.Crew (similar here, and loving these too) // Lips: Nars Heat Wave // Watch: Michael Kors // Bracelets: David Yurman, J.Crew, Madewell.

Hello everyone! Today, the Quarter Life Closet is teaming up with GlassesUSA.com to talk about a seriously chic style element: eyewear. A new pair of frames can make a big style-defining statement with minimal effort. When I started Law School, my eyes would strain after hours with my nose in a book or in front of the computer screen. When my eye doctor suggested that I needed eyeglasses, I was secretly (or, not so secretly) excited for this new fashion adventure. After all, I have always looked to one of my personal style icons Jenna Lyons whose thick frames and bright lip have become her calling card. Jenna has without a doubt made geek chic style legendary and wearing glasses effortlessly cool.

GlassesUSA.com is a great resource to find all different kinds of high quality prescription glasses... (even clear lenses if you need them strictly for fashion purposes). I was really impressed by the site's amazing selection of modern style at great prices. They even have designer brands like DVF and Tom Ford. The whole process is a super easy way to buy glasses with fast shipping and the ability to try your frames before you buy with the Virtual Mirror found below.

The best part: GlassesUSA.com is providing TQLC readers with an exclusive 10% discount with the promo code: Blog10In addition to the promo code, there is a refer-a-friend program allowing you to receive $30 towards your next pair of glasses, for the first purchase your referred friend makes. Make sure to follow their Facebook and Twitter and click here for more discounts. I hope everyone has a fantastic rest of the week, and thank you for stopping by!

Where to Shop: AshleGryre

Illustration by the talented Brittany Fuson

Happy Monday! I am excited to finally share with my readers (especially my fellow Florida girls) the skinny on AshleGryre, a new boutique in Atlantic Beach. This little slice of fashion heaven carries great brands like Rachel Zoe, Line and Dot, WildFox, Lauren Conrad's brand Paper Crown, and a great array of denim and accessories. Aside from the merchandise, I loved how chic the design of the store felt. Every inch of the boutique was beautifully styled, it was like shopping in a store in Los Angeles rather than the typical Jacksonville area boutique. The owner Ashle was as equally put together as her space, (not to mention sweet and welcoming) and she is sure to serve as a great source of style inspiration. So, if you are in the North Florida area be sure to stop by and check it out. I can't wait to return when I head home in May. I hope everyone has a great start to the week, and thank you for reading!

Visit the store Facebook page here.
