Fiesta

Dress: Clover Canyon (similar one here) // Shoes: Zara (similar here)  // Bag: J.Crew (old, similar here) // Sunnies: Karen Walker / Jewelry: David Yurman

Happy Monday! It is no secret that I wear a lot of black and white... it is just such a chic and easy combo to put together. This outfit however is a step in the opposite direction. I love Clover Canyon's dramatic printed neoprene dresses and because they are so intricate I tend to want to pair them with neutral accessories. Pulling a color combo from within the print of the dress, I went with a bright orange bag and a blue shoe to create a fiesta ready ensemble. So, make a Monday resolution to take color risks! I hope everyone has a great start to the week, and thank you as always for reading.

Fall Color Crush: Blush + Aubergine

Fall: Blush + Aubergine

1. Sunglasses
2. Culottes
3. Sweater
4. Hat
5. Moto Jacket
5. Belt
7. Boots
8. Skirt
9. Bag
10. Jeans

Pastels are a huge trend for fall. My favorite pastel of the season is without a doubt blush. While shopping in Miami this past week, blush caught my eye at every store I ascended upon. As I was styling my dressing room ensemble in Club Monaco, I came to a Fall dressing epiphany with the beautiful little belt shown above. I realized that Aubergine and oxblood look amazing with the the soft and feminine tone of blush. This combo provides outfit impact that I just can't get enough of. To really get creative, try mixing things up a bit by pairing a flowy aubergine culotte with a blush moto-jacket. I love how the sweet color looks on a traditionally edgy piece. Am I the only one getting excited for fall now? I hope everyone has a great weekend and thank you for reading.

Palms in Paradise

Romper: Cameo (similar here) // Vest: Banana Republic (old, similar here and here) // Shoes: Birkenstock for J.Crew // Bag: Celine // Sunnies: Moorea Seal // Ring: David Yurman // Watch: Vintage Rolex (similar here

Day two in Miami and I can't think of a better place to wear my palm print romper. As the  season comes to a close, I am loving the fact that I am getting some serious use of my favorite summer pieces. One of the reasons I love this print is that it reminds me of Blanche's bedroom on The Golden Girls . Not only is The Golden Girls possibly one of my favorite shows of all time, the fact that it is set in Miami makes this even more perfect. I hope everyone has a great Wednesday, and thank you as always for reading.

Miami Vice

Top: Nasty Gal // Pants: Elizabeth and James (similar here) // Bag: Gucci // Shoes: Zara (similar here) // Sunnies: Karen Walker

Rob and I decided to take a post-bar vacation to South Beach, Miami. I really love it down here...everything is alive and colorful, and the food is phenomenal. I wore this cream outfit out to dinner our first night at Jonathan Cheban's (Kim Ks best friend) restaurant Sushi Couture on Ocean Drive. It may have been the best sushi I have ever had. To see more pics of the trip follow me on instagram here. I hope you are having a great week, and thank you for reading!

Boyfriend Shorts

Shorts: Forever 21 (similar here, here, and here ) // Shirt: Madewell  (similar here and here) // Bag: J.Crew (similar here and here and here) // Shoes: Zara (love these herehere and here)  // Sunnies: Moorea Seal // Jewelry: David Yurman

Hello All! I wore this outfit in Jacksonville Beach, to see my cousin Carole finish running a beach race, and let me tell you, it was hot...so this ensemble really fit the bill. I have been wanting a pair of super distressed boyfriend shorts all summer. However, I couldn't bring myself to splurge on a pair of shorts that after a couple washes may not be wearable anymore. Then, enter these Forever21 pair. Don't get me wrong, I believe that clothes are an investment: leather jackets, killer shoes, beautiful bag... all of these things are worth the mulah. But, for ripped up shorts, I'm ok with spending under $20. I hope everyone is having a great weekend, and thank you for reading.

For the Frill

Dress: Ted Baker (similar here)  // Shoes: J.Crew (similar here and here) // Sunnies: Moorea Seal (also love these here) // Lips: Nars "Yu" // Jewelry: David Yurman

Current fashion is characterized by androgynous minimalism, Birkenstocks, and boyfriend jeans (all things I love). However, sometimes it is a nice change of pace to put on a highly feminine vintage-inspired dress. Not only do I love the shape, but this shade of powder blue is a personal favorite. I think this dress would look amazing in the cooler months with cream or deep oxblood coat. Pastels are not just for Spring anymore, they are now becoming a year around staple. Have a great rest of the week, and thank you for reading!

Mix & Match Monday

Shirt: Current/Elliott // Shorts: Zara (similar here and here) // Jacket: Maje (similar here) // Shoes: J.Crew (on sale!) // Bag: Gucci // Sunnies: Karen Walker // Jewelry: David Yurman //

Mixing prints, and matching colors is one of my favorite ways to put together an outfit. And since I had two prints already, I thought adding one more couldn't hurt... besides, leopard is a neutral. I hope everyone is having a great start to the week, and thank you as always for reading.
