White, Overall

Overalls: H&M (similar here, here, here, and here) // Shirt: Zara (similar here) // Shoes: Vans // Bag: Meli Melo // Sunnies: Rayban // Earrings: J.Crew (old)

Last spring and summer I jumped on the overall bandwagon with great enthusiasm. What can I say? I am child of the 90's, there was no way I could possibly help myself. After loving and wearing my blue denim and black pair for the greater part of 2014, I am back in action this year with white. All fashion girls can attest to the undeniable versatility of white denim, and I find white overalls to be no exception. An all white ensemble feels so crisp, and very yacht week off the coast of Cannes. And since much to my disappointment I will be nowhere near the Mediterranean sea, I am happy to report  this outfit still works for spring in the Mid-Atlantic.

I usually love wearing overalls with a pretty feminine shoe for contrast (seen here and here), but this time I went ultra casual with a slip on sneaker perfect for a weekend of Starbucks runs, shopping, and lunch with girlfriends. I hope you are having a happy Wednesday and thank you as always for reading!

Cherry Blossom

Skirt: J.Crew (25% off with code SHOPNOW) // Top: J.Crew (25% off with code SHOPNOW) // Shoes: J.Crew (25% off with code SHOPNOW)  // Jacket: J.Crew // Bag: Whistles // Earrings: J.Crew (old)

The cherry blossoms are at their peak here in D.C. and it was without a doubt a beautiful weekend. Not only was the weather and scenery lovely, I had a lot of  quality time with friends! On Saturday I had a delicious French brunch in Georgetown with my girlfriend Camden and attended a Master's watching party with Rob. On Sunday, I had an outdoor lunch and shopping with my friend Lauren, followed by a not-so-intentional tour of Georgetown on our way to fro-yo. I wore this particular outfit to brunch and basically everything in it is on sale at J.Crew right now. And though I can admit I am a little matchy with the flowers, this shade of pink always puts me in a good mood. I hope you are enjoying spring wherever you are, and thank you as always for reading!

Little Black Romper with Alixandra Collections

Romper: c/o Alixandra Collections // Blazer: Reiss // Sandals: J.Crew // Bag: Meli Melo // Sunnies: Rayban

Happy Monday Everyone, I hope you had a wonderful and relaxing Easter weekend. To kick off the new week TQLC has teamed up once again with Alixandra Collections to bring you some warmer weather inspo just in time for the spring, and eventually the summer season. This little black romper (LBR?) is the perfect solution to a quick outfit. I love that it can be styled for a  day of shopping with a camel tote bag, sandals and a sleek blazer. It is also causal and light weight enough to throw on over a bikini and head to the beach. This LBR is also very on trend right now with it’s deep “V” neckline, giving it a slight 70’s vibe. Check out other great finds at Alixandra Collections and use code ShopAlixQLC to recieve 15% off you purchase. A little shopping is always my favorite way to start out the week! Thanks for reading xo.

Navy Transitions & Rocksbox

Necklace: Gorjana c/o Rocksbox // Bracelet: House of Harlow c/o of Rocksbox // Jumpsuit: Reiss (and here) // Trench: Topshop // Clutch: Clare Vivier // Shoes: Zara (similar here) // Lip: Stila 'Fiore' // Nails: Dutch Tulips

Happy Monday! Navy is one of my favorite colors to wear because it has the same chic factor as black but it is so much softer. I fell in love at first sight with this navy Reiss jumpsuit that has proven to be a perfect transitional piece for the spring. Not only is it perfect for this time of year, I imagine it will look great with wedges and gold accessories come the summer months, and work well into to fall with a leather jacket.

Throughout my blog I have repeatedly insisted on the ability to wear navy and black together, so for this particular navy monochromatic outfit I accessorized with black, cream and touches of gold jewelry. My dainty Gorjana neckline and House of Harlow  bracelet are apart of the monthly jewelry subscription Rocksbox. Every month Rocksbox sends you new designer jewelry to wear until you are ready to return it-- aka the perfect solution to never get bored with that same old statement necklace. And, if you love your new piece so much that you can't think of parting with it, you have the option to buy at a discounted price. Trust me, the concept is addicting and the best part is Rocksbox is gifting TQLC readers one month free with the code christinaxoxo2.  So check it out and have a great rest of your week. Thanks for reading!
