70's Basics

 As much as I love my skinny jeans, I am kind of thrilled that flares are back in full force for the season. I have often sung the praises of Madewell denim at its impeccable fit...well, their flares are no exception. They are snug and loose in all of the right places and they never stretch out. The medium wash is the perfect shade of denim for spring and I also love the look of the high waisted rise. I wanted to keep my outfit minimal so I paired my throw-back denim with a simple white tie blouse that also has a vintage vibe. I love the simplicity of a white blouse and blue jeans, but to add a little fun while keeping things neutral I went with my grey fringe bag.
